We have three classes this year, each with a topic related to farming. Read the details of what is involved in each one:
Drawing / Painting – 10 years and under “On the Farm”
Your entry should be on an A4 piece of paper or card. The title is “On the Farm” and you can draw any aspect of farming – farm animals, farm buildings, farm vehicles or equipment, a picture of fields or a farmyard or people working on a farm. You can use pencils, pens, paint – anything you like. We must be able to pin your entry to a board. Please write your name and age on the back of your entry.
Poster Competition – 11 to 16 year olds – ‘Support British Farmers’
A poster, either A4 or A3 size, to encourage people to support British farmers or farming. It should be done on paper, in any medium, and have your name, age, and telephone number on the reverse. We must be able to pin your entry onto a board. Please write your name and age on the back of the painting.
Over 16 / Adult Painting Competition – ‘The Farming Life’
This year we also have a painting competition for adults. The theme is Farming Life and you can focus on any aspect. Your painting can be in any medium. It must be unframed, but can be mounted on card. Maximum dimensions of the mount are 70cm X 50cm. Please ensure your painting can be attached to a board with pins or velcro.
