As part of the Family Fund Day we will have an Art Exhibition in the Pavilion. Entry is free and we will exhibit as many paintings as we have room to display.

THEME 

The theme for the exhibition is ‘Having Fun’. You can interpret this in whatever way you want.

AGE

The exhibition is open to everyone aged between 5 and 16 living within 5 miles of Melbourn or attending school in Melbourn. We will choose the best artwork in four groups:

Age 5 – 7, Age 8 – 10, Age 11 – 13, Age 14 – 16

NUMBER OF ENTRIES

You can submit up to two pieces of artwork. 

SUBMISSION DATE

All entries must be submitted by 6pm on Friday 16 June. We will collect entries from the school or you can hand them in to Melbourn Hub marked for the attention of the Junior Art Exhibition.

SIZE

Your painting can be A4 or A3 in size and either landscape or portrait.

MEDIUM

Entries can be drawn or painted in any medium – pencil, watercolour, poster paint, oils, pastels, ink. We will also accept original digitally produced art.

PRESENTATION

Entries should be unframed and unmounted. We may mount the entries on card for display.

NAME

Please write your name, date of birth, and a contact phone number on the back of your work. Complete an entry form – see below. If you have any difficulty getting the form, you can write the details on a separate sheet of paper. .

PRIZES

There will be prizes for the best entries in each age-group.
